I am for both countries. It is the terrorist org, Hezbollah that is causing the pain and suffering in both countries. Lebanon is too weak militarily to confront them, and Israel has to protect its citizens from Hezbollah missiles

Lebanon, Israel had no need to start attacking them. They were using the 2 kidnapped soldiers as an excuse. Also why keep launching missiles on innocent people? They are no better than the Hezbollah terrorists. This would never have happened if Sharon was still in charge.

I'm for the civilians on both sides. Because all they want to do is live in peace.
I'm for the Israeli military though I think they are being told to do too much. At least they are trying to hit military targets and yes the explosions are going to kill some civilians. But what do you expect when Hizbullah likes to try and hide behind women and children. That's why the number of civilian deaths cause by Israeli stikes isn't ten times greater. They have fire control. They almost always hit what they aim it.
I'm not in favor of the Israeli government because I think they should have showed more restraint in their retaliation. but i could be wrong on that one.
I'm not infavor of the Lebanese government because they haven't lived up to their part of the withdrawl agreement they had with Israel and disarmed Hizbullah.
Who I'm really against is Hizbullah. They started this whole mess. And they don't want to admit they screwed up by tweaking Israel's nose. And they continue to err by firing more and more rockets toward civilian population centers. They can't target the Israeli military because they can't hit anything smaller than a large town or city but still they keep firing rockets.

I think what Israel is doing is completely disproportionate. If you had seen the burnt remains of the toddlers and children scattered across the road, after the minibus they were in was hit by a missile shot from a helicopter gunship, you may agree. Israel has destroyed a country for very little reason. The abductions were an excuse, and only the support of the US protects them from the justice that should be meted out.

I am not on any ones side. I wish there wasn't ANY war at ALL! But you know, their war is their war. I hope the U.S. doesn't get too involved. We should stay out of their business. This war is between Israel and Lebanon. They need to work it out.

I am pulled in both directions because I have a great number of Lebonese friends that have family there. But on the other hand being Christian I know that they are God's choosen people and the land of Isreal was given to them in the bible. (To the Tribes listed in Bible.) I do not agree with hitting in areas that there are no terrorists though that is wrong. (Isreal has done this)
