Short answer, no, women wouldn't be happy, and it would be front page news.
Its the same reason why child molesting female teachers get off with light sentences while a male teacher who does the same thing gets locked away for 20 years. Its called a double-standard.

Um... when the leading cause of death for pregnant women isn't MURDER, *then* whine to me about rights... I think fathers who actually give a damn about their kids should definitely have full rights, but who are we kidding? It's biased for a reason. And second class citizens? Give me a break. Women aren't even considered "citizens" in several countries. You're going to try to tell me a man is a second class citizen when everytime I walk out of my door I have men in passing cars shouting rude things at me, or driving past me very slowly and parking down nearby alleys as if they're plotting my rape or murder. It's kind of hard to feel sorry for men when you experience sh*t like this on a regular, daily basis. There is absolutely no reason why a child can't be primarily raised by a father instead of a mother if both are shown to be fit parents and want what's best for the child. The courts make these decisions, and are not a good percentage of the judges men? They weren't just pulled off the street. They usually have a *reason* behind their decisions other than "how can I piss a man off today?".

generally, women are treated as second class citizens in most societies.... as for children, why bring children into the world in the first place if there are going to be more problems???

Second class citizens MY ***!! How many dead beat dads are out there and the women are left to raise alone, no support or help from the man. Let alone the children.

WTF!! I am single mom. I have both of my boys. my oldest's (1 and a half ) father has a drug and temper problem. and he is 4500 in the hole for back child support. he says he will only pay if he is with me. not his son but me. i don't want to be with him. he would rather not help than to see his son. and my youngest's father is crazy. really he is. he threatened to kill me and my unborn son. and is mentally abusive. why put my boys through that?? they are better off with me.
