It's this feeling that when you think about splitting up with your partner, you just feel so depressed and lonely and, it doesn't feel right.

well u know because ur always thinking of the person and if u have somthing speacial u want to share it with them n u always imagined ur life with them n u already have ur childrens names picked out n ur wedding n u couldn't bare loosing them cuz they are everything to u and u find any reason at all to call them and u dont care what people think of u to and u wish that they was there with u always and u think that they are like the cutest person u ever met in person and ur not embarrased no way about them and everytime u hear his voice u always smile and u get so excited to see them like if u were goin on a date u couldn't sleep and u alwys want them to be happy and never sad and u wanna help them be the best that they can be and u never look at nothey guy or girl again because u like them so much and u wannan look ur best for them and u always wonder what their doing if their thinking about u or wat u care for them physically and emotionally and u would want ur first time with them be very special and romantic and thats how u know if ur in love

i think......that kind of knowing in your question refers to "crushing" "attachment" "lust" "need" and all those things which are fantastic but are not Love as how i define it.
True Love is 'a stand' you take - it is a committment you make and you know it..... because YOU made it or said it.
The stand goes something like this: * I accept this person the way that they are and i accept them the way that they are not *
If you are asking, i would suspect that you are not in love.

There is no such thing,what you are feeling is temporary neediness for companionship and infatuation.People these days are not capable to illustrate love anymore.Look around and society has become more and more selfish towards each other. Life moves in full and savagery is back.

Hers the question to ask yourself, if you think you love someone. If you were to get the news that the person had passed away--would you be sad that the person would be gone never to see again. Or would you think that your heart would break. when you truly love anyone, your heart hurts just thinking of your life without them in it.
