It takes work and deterimation, but yes, if you have the drive and willpower to keep ip the fight, you eill be able to write a good screenplay. Most professinal writers have taken classes on writing and have experance in the film industry beforehand. But go for it. I would love to read anthing you, or any amiture writer writes. I also try to write screenplays and find it difficult but rewarding.

Special talent, but one you can cultivate.
Read scripts... you can see a few at script-o-rama.com, and I suggest reading along while you watch a film.
Also read Syd Firld's SCREENPLAY and Robert McKee's STORY before throwing both away and forming your own opinions on how story works for YOU.

All people could write a screenplay. It just takes patience, a massive amount of talent and l33t skillz to be in the top.
If you could write the alphabet and knows how to arrange the alphabet letter to make a word, THEN YOU COULD BE A SCREENWRITER! kapooch!~

i think anyone could do it, it's just if that person has the passion to do it or not that makes it a great screenplay!

i believe that it all depends on the imagination that individual has. if a person has imagination then they can do anything. i believe that some people do have more talent then others but anyone can do it as long as they dont set any boundaries. they need to be able to expand their horizons and take it as far as it can go.

just make sure you know what people like. most like comedy or hate.if you can make it like-able to a lot of people,you can write it.
