Do you mean why haven't you seen her in movies lately? She married Danny Elfman, the genius composer, and they had a son named Oliver a couple years back.
I think she still acts.

My theory is that the same thing happened to her that happened to Steve Guttenberg. They were both abducted by aliens so that they can breed with them to create a super-human race called the Guttens and the Fondoids. Well, thats 2 super-human races but whatever, you get my point.
