They are sweet and kind in a way of their own.
They might stand out but they make things that will always stand out.
They are what the world has when it comes to talent.
They are the essence of abruptness that is an experience in itself.
It is not easy to be with them but it is always the best time you will have in your life.
They are creative and innovative and they solve problems in unconventional ways that might be the best way but unimaginable by the cool guys.
They are straight-forward as they know that mostly people don't understand them.
Their oddness makes them lonely therefore when they are with you you are the only person or thing that will occupy their whole time whether they show it or not.
They are unique and therefore the gifted and blessed and therefore the company that will make you gifted and blessed.

"Nerds" are attentive (ok, sometimes you have to pull them away from whatever gaming platform they're stuck on), polite, and engaging. They have been known to treat women with more respect. They are affectionate, funny (if you get geek humor, which I do), and fairly creative. You won't have to worry about him going to the club to get his flirt on, because he'd rather host a LAN party.
And as an added bonus, he'll probably look at your computer (which you never noticed a problem with) and go "I can make this run better." And he will. ;) I love my nerd.

Nerds don't excite me. Geeks, I like. They're cute. Nerds are off on their own planets and fairly oblivious to the rest of us. In general, they are not terribly deep people.
I prefer truly "smart" folks like Jeff Goldblum. Smart and hot. That man just gets better with age.

With my nerd I like his personality best. He's a man yes but at the same time he treats me like a person, he listens to what I have to say, will share his opinion on things, he understands me so therefore he knows his limits with me and mostly he's respectful. They have character traits that just has an attraction of its own.

I wouldn't call my husband a nerd...he's intellectual. I'll tell you what I absolutely love about men like that. Intelligectuals don't necessarily have to be ugly, skinny, pale and live in front of computers. My man is handsome, out of the military and in very good form.
Intellectuals can have informative, intelligent conversations and stimulate my own intellect. They're generally well-read, they know what's going on in the world, they understand politics, and know what's important and what's not. I'd much rather speak to someone with unique intellect than with someone who may be very good looking but stupid. Intelligence is a big turn on.
Intellectual men have manners. Opening doors, pulling out chairs, being caring and sensitive is not outside their realm and they don't consider it old fashioned. Intellectual men tend to go to college & universities and also tend to have a Masters or PhD, therefore they have high paying jobs and no children. They take you out to nicer places, are generally nicer and don't they don't make you feel like you're wasting your time.
Intellectual men aren't just looking for someone to party with. They know how to make you feel special, cared for, intelligent and unique. They appreciate what you have to say and take it into consideration, they don't just blow off your comments, and they come for advice when they know you can help. In marriage, with my husband; I appreciate that he's aknowledged that he has less time for finances. So, in turn, I take care of the finances and place money in his account. I appreciate that my husband is not "embarrassed" to admit that I may be better at some things than he is. He's intelligent enough to know that doesn't matter.
In short, intellectual men have a lot more to offer for those of us that are more concerned with reality and not just "playa talk".

This is from the movie "Revenge of the Nerds" and it probably sums up this nerd question the best I have ever seen:
BETTY
You're that nerd!
LEWIS
Yeah.
BETTY
God, you were wonderful.
LEWIS
Thanks.
BETTY
Are all nerds as good as you?
LEWIS
Yes.
BETTY
How come?
LEWIS
Because all jocks think about is sports. All we ever think about is sex.

Most of them mind their own business. They are so engrossed with their reading that trivial things don't matter to them. It's nice to be with someone who knows a lot.
