When my 94 Musstang trans warms up, sometimes it slips out of gear while I'm cruzing along. It's not worth rebuilding. What additive helps the best?

None of them help. I had a car that busted the transmission cooler line somehow, and I ended up damaging first gear by the time I found out where the fluid was leaking and was able to solder the hole. No additive ever helped the hard shifting, but I sure helped out the snake oil companies hoping for a cure. Your best bet is to do a complete transmission fluid flush, put on a new filter, fill it with Mobil 1 transmission fluid and hope it helps. Lucas and such are snake oil.

If it's manual transmission, you could have a loose or damaged shift cable, or any number of other things that could be causing it to pop out of gear. If it's automatic, you're just best doing the above and crossing your fingers. You're putting off the inevitable.

I'd try a filter and oil change using Mobil One Synthetic Transmission fluid and wait and see before using an additive.

Witch oils do nothing for mechanical repairs needed. Cheapest fix try a fluid & filter change 1st, very neglected item on 95% of all vehicles. Automatic or manual?

Lucas.
FYI...they also have a very excellent fuel injection additive. Worked great with the fuel-fussy '85 Volvo I had.

None. Rebuild, replace or get a different vehicle. You can't "pour in" new clutch lining or heat damaged seals.
