I see there is some disagreement here. I say three, my son says two, you guys say two and some say three.

Two have been released, but they filmed the third one at the same time as the second, it just isn't finished yet. I forget when it's supposed to be released, but believe that it is next July.

Yeah, there are only 2 right now. The third one is done, filming wise. And as stated previously, due out next year. But I am not sure if there is going to be a 4. Johnny Depp has reported that the 3rd one is going to be his last as Captain Jack Sparrow. They may make another Pirates without that character. But that would be crazy to do so. Captain Jack brings alot to the table in those movies. I just couldn't imagine seeing a Pirates of the Carribean movie without Jack Sparrow.
