I like watching people performing physically demanding tasks whilest completely idle.

Doesn't matter how dull ; it justmakes me feel fulfilled.

While in Scotland i lived in a rather populated area and loved nothing better than a power cut! Yes a power cut because it meant that i could sleep soundly without having to endure my neighbours TV full blast. It gave me such pleasure!!! I told a friend who suggested that i was being nasty. it wasn't to me not when i was working 12 hours a day shifts on an 8 on 6 off Not that i ever got 6 days off we were too short staffed) and could never sleep between two shifts and my days off because my neighbours simply kept their TV on 24/7 max volume so that ... Power cut came (Not enough of them) And i felt elated!!! I'd have partied if i hadn't been so dying to catch up with lost sleep!!!!

Order. I love things being rainbow ordered, or alphabetical, or in perfectly straight lines. Reassures me that something's right with the world.

I will be delighted if I get the opportunity to set an end or sidestack out like this at work, all labels facing forwards, colour coordinated, in perfect lines. I have to smile to myself about it. My wardrobe is rainbow ordered, my books are perfectly straigth and height ordered, and my DVDs are abecedarian.

I love walking along the tractor tracks through a field of wheat at this time of year. Running my hands along the tops of the ears of wheat on either side as I walk.

I reminds me so much of my childhood, when I lived in the country: those seemingly endless summers.

It never fails to lift my spirits.

Fireworks displays. My grown kids come home for the fourth of July every year specifically to watch me watch fireworks. I don't understand it, but I totally lose myself in the joy of every single burst - hollering "Oh! That's my favorite!" to nearly every one of them. I have no control over this, it's just a fact I've discovered about myself with my family's help. LOL. I usually forget about it completely until I'm sitting down to watch them - and I'm a firefighter, so I'm right there in the thick of things. LOL.

I just love it when you walk down the street or into a shop and a Girl looks deep into your eye's, smiles and act's as though you have known her for years.

Generally people that are in a good mood, not grumpy old shopkeepers. (stereotypically).

Life is definitely way too short for sadness. ; )
