If your hard disk is making noise, it will probably fail very soon. Be sure to make Backups of all of your important data NOW!
Look for the restore disks that came with your computer, and organize all of the program disks that you need to re-install everything.
Shop around for a new hard drive now.

All HDs are different. If you've had it for a while, it could be a sign of failure. I reccomend backing up your hard drive to a CD set.
If you havent had it for a while, it could just be a normal sound for that HD.

that could be a sign that your HD is about to fail, so back up your data just incase, and if it does fail, then you have everything backed up, so just have a new one installed and then transfer all the backed up data to the new HD.

well...your hard looks older. you cant do anything...but no problem... it will wok. 9if you have money buy a new one. my hard is 6 years old and works just fine
