He has Parkinson's Disease, he was trying very hard to disguise it while he was working on various shows etc, unfortunately his symptons where getting worse, meaning he would have to retire. so he made a statement, to let people know what was wrong with him, because he had been looking ill for a while. he now is the official face for Parkinson's and he has helped to raise millions of $'s to aid in the research for this dibilitating disease.

Well you do know he took Parkinson's disease, talked about it on Tv, underwent brain surgery etc. But in the end ... And sadly for him and anyone else affected by Parkinson's disease ... They don't make it.
My son was a great fan of his, how many times i was made to watch' Back to the future'! One thing i would say he's done really well for someone with the disease but comes the stage when nothing works anymore. It's very sad.

He's got Parkinson's disease and was trying to talk some sense into Monkey George on the stem cell research debate. The far right christians in the US would rather that children were born with debilitating diseases and live short and tragic lives, than highly qualified doctors experiment on embryos (which will be destroyed anyway) to determine ways of eliminating diseases.

He has a form of Parkinson's disease that begins affecting people at a very early age.
Here is an article from when he first announced that he had the disease:

In 1998 he was at the end of the middle stage of the disease. It is more advanced now.

He's got Parkinson's Disease. He's had it for quite some time now and it's apparently getting worse. Plus, he's not trying to hide it any more.

He has Parkinson's Disease. I think it is very brave of him to have appeard on TV looking like he does right now.
This is a terrible disease for which there is no cure. He will just continue to deteriorate. Very sad.
