Yes, (at least in My state) 13 is too young to get a job legaly. You need to be at least 14 to get working papers that can get you the job. This does not stop kids from working for money under the table.

Depends on the job. It's a little young, but if you (or the person in question) is responsible enough to handle the work, and can find a willing employer I think its a great thing! Just don't let it interfere with school and such. You need all that later to get better jobs.

All states have laws regarding Child labor and 13 is below the minimum age to work. However you can get a job delivering newspapers or something like that.

Im 12 ad I have asked EVERYWHERE how old do you have to be to work here? 16 is always there answer.
If a family of friend owns a small bisness then you could pull some strigs and get in early

I started working when I was 14. 14 is a good age.

you need to be 14 and 8 months to work legally. You could do odd jobs for cash though... walking dogs, mowing lawns, thatt type of thing.

well most jobs wont hire you until your 16....but mowing grass or walking dogs for neighbors would prolly fit best for a 13 year old

Can't you do babysitting at that age in the US? I don't think it's the safest thing to do, but yes, that's the job you can do.

yes.. it is.. .in the USA of course. .but you are more welcomed to go overseas and exploit yourself.. actually you can work in the USA at the age of 13 , you can be a whore, and a prostitute,but Im sure you wouldnt do that right.....
