first impression is almost never correct.......spend time with the person ,,...know wht they r all about n then make ur decision ? but thats on one hand...on the other ... it is human nature to repeat the initial feelings you hav about a person and only time with that person can reduce the effect.

I believe first impressions have a great impact, but first impressions can be completely wrong. Obviously, the more experience you have with a person, the better you will understand them. Basing a decision on a first impression is generally quite stupid considering what little information you actually have about the person. Following first impressions is for lazy people who don't want to be bothered with follow-up.

I believe that you are thinking of the saying...."A great first impression is a lasting impression" and yes I believe that.

Yes I believe in first impressions.
Because often times people gather all their info about someone subconciously in the first few moments & then process it later. It's filed away in the memory banks for all time. It's very difficult to correct a bad first impression later.

No, I don`t. Whenever I meet a person, I try to keep an open mind as to who he or she really is. You cannot judge a person by just an impression. What matters most is what is in his heart. Society today tends to discriminate persons based on a lot of norms. And I think that is unfair. The more that I am in company with a person, the more that I know. I don`t want to be prejudiced too.

First impressions are a big deal. It forms your opinion of the person you just met forever and it is hard to change that if it was the wrong impression.

i don't think its the last impression, but if the first impression is a bad one, its very hard to change it.
so it is important to try to make a good first impression.
you got to admit that when you see a "boring" person, you won't even try to have a fun conversation with him/her, so then it probably will be the last impression to, but if you would try it, he (or she) could be fun to talk to.

First Impressions are usually the correct impressions because you know nothing bout them and it is your "gut" feeling them out..And any other time you meet them or see them ,,you have already felt them out so any thing else you sense is a false sense because you "gut" isn't trying to feel them out again and yet they are still trying to make themselves seem friendly cause they know they aren't
