how do you think politics affect the national film industry (e.g. chinese cinema, european cinemas etc)?

Any country across the world doesnt want their country portrayed in a bad light and so they may try to stop the showing of the film completely or as in tthe case of America where the rights are protected the politcal leaders will scoff at the film and try to destroy its credibility

Well for one thing it can either limit what you can film or have no limits. Some countries are very strict on all things , some are not. From what I have seen, the political scene in the home country of the film affect every part of it.
