and do your eyes really pop out if you have them open when you sneeze?

You can cry underwater its just the tears mix with the water and can't be seen just because you cant see something doesn't mean it isn't there it leaves other proof!
and the eyeball popping is a myth sneezing is only possible when you close your eyes as its a reflex action in the middle of the sneeze sequence , bit like you cant start a car without putting the key in the ignition!! But the reason why you close your eyes is to avoid pressure on your eyes that might damage them (detach a retina or puncture the sclerosis (outer skin) is more likely then them falling out

No time to cry as too busy thinking about breathing. Breathing saves your life, not crying! Perhaps with an aqualung on? Have fun trying but be careful!!
as for sneezes, I once tried to sneeze without blinking and made the most ridiculous noise. I was only about 8 at the time and did it in my class at school. The teacher thought I was taking the p*** and went nuts and I haven't tried again since. I reckon your eyes would pop out though. I heard it was a type of torture to sew the eyelids and make you sneeze. Nice!

Because of the water pressure. The pressure of the water you are submerged in prevents the tears from coming out of your tear ducts and when you sneeze , the force of the sneeze against the pressure of the water causes your eyes to get the Bugged out feeling.

Because you have to take a breath to cry. I haven't tried but this is what I'm thinking...

you could try to cry underwater, but you'll need to inhale (air) sometime. the sneezing thing, pull your eye lids open next time you sneeze, your eyes will not pop out.

i think its an automatic reaction as regards sneezing, not sure about the eyes poping out bit,as regards crying under water well you cant breath uder water without equipment so how can you cry.

its impossible to sneeze with ur eyes shut unless u have no eyelids to start with! Closing our eyes when we sneeze is a reflex

you can`t cry because the water goes into your eye so it is inpossible to cry and your eyes can`t pop out
