Well Boo Bloody Hoo.
It is the curse of the modern age my little frustrated friend. The net can bite you in the *** sometimes, and other times it can ge your best friend.
I do have a similiar thing on mine and maybe you should go to Tibet and spend some time meditating on the reason as to why your email is malfunctioning.
When you have found the enlightenment you so deserve I am sure you will come and tell the rest of us; as it is of critical importance.

I have the same problem. Mine keeps saying that I have 6 new messeges when I really have none. It has been doing this for about two days now.

I have the same problem as everyone else, although when I hover my mouse over the new mail icon, at least the last four messages in my inbox are visible.
I've even gone to www.yahoo.com who still have the old style menu, and the number of new messages is wrong there too.
Hopefully the yahoo techies are working on the problem and it will be sorted out soon.

Yahoo might want to be having an situation with its mail server. Mine has shown that I have 29 emails for like 3 days now. I not in any respect have a tendency to rigidity about this because it has surpassed off formerly and it varieties itself out.

Don't have the answer to that question. Mine has been doing the exact same thing since yesterday. Even after signingoff, logging off puter and shutting it down. Booted back up this morning and after checking all my email....same friggin thing.

same prob here too. says i have 17 wen i have none sometimes and different amounts other times.been like it since yesterday. no point in contactin yahoo. not like they ever get back to u wen u have a problem with their services

Check the BULK folder - I would guess you have Junk EMail in there - OR - you have marked some emails in your IN-BOX as UnRead or perhaps Flagged some of them.

Its happening with just about everybody else's at the moment to.

it was the same yesterday, it dos'nt matter if you log off and back on again or if you login on a different comp...
