My guinea pigs went anywhere between 60 to 75 days. The babies are born with fur, open eyes, and teeth. They will nurse, but they will also eat mom's food, so give her a little extra. I bought one at the pet store who had 3 babies a month later, silly me didn't know the difference between boy and girl so within the next few months I had 14. I'm back down to one now, but i do miss the babies.

Around 60 days depending on how many they have. The strange thing with piggies is the more they have the shorter the gestation period. I have seen 1 - 5 pups. I was lucky when the one that had 5 there was a couple of other females nursing so I farmed out a couple of them. They all turned out fine. They nurse for 3 weeks, and can start breeding in 15 - 17 weeks. The little ones jump around, it's called popcorning. Happy pigging.

The web below is great for piggie care.

The average gestation is 63 days. Give or take a few. They have a long gestation, but the babies are born with a full coat of fur and eyes open and ready to go!
