Saw Braveheart the Mel Gibson film after hypno session and had the awful feeling that I had seen the battle scene before - saw the film Paton one afternoon midweek and he pratles on about being in a battle in ancient Rome so that convinced me it more imagination than deeper stuff.

Yes, I went through a great regression once. My best friend's father was a wonderful hypnotist and took the two of us through a joint regression. We'd always felt we knew each other previously. So there we were -- in the Civil War! He was a southern soldier and I was a (ahem!!) camp follower. Nice phrase for hooker! How much was "real" and how much imagination? Well, the Civil War was always his favorite subject and I was always a pretty over-sexed lady -- but, we had a wonderful time anyway, we saw a lot of very realistic scenes, and had fun. So, who knows. It was still great.

hi dryee...
wouldn´t it better have some wet one once in a while?

Getting into matter ....

I tried twice to have a regression but i didnt have any. I think that maybe i am not so easy to hypnotize or that the doc was a fraudulent one.

The only way to know is that you try it with a well recommended doc or any other professional.

have nice dreams... any kind

That I was an average peasant in a filthy medieval village, somewhere in plague stricken
Europe.

But I didn't like that one, so I became Cleopatra.

Have you ever wondered why so many regressed memories are of famous historical characters?

i was regressed once. I lived in France and was running away from some men on horses. As I ran down a hill to get away everything went blank. I thought it was scary!!

The hypnotist can put anything there they want. I saw a group of normal people convinced they were abducted by aliens after the hypnotist told them details about it while they were under.

All bunk. There have been mulitple cases of "memories" being planted. One woman accused her father of raping her because of this... and it didn't happen.
