My child can do the start and middle of a cartwheel but ends up all wrong.

well i can give you advice. My sister is 5 and she loves doing cartwheels. She took gymnastic lessons so she was able to learn how. From my observations the way she got better was for her to do handstands. First with adult holding her and then she could do it leaning on a wall or such. What you can do is do a cartwheel with him helping him and making sure he has the right posture. try this site and follow the directions.

no let the kid get old then u can teach me to do some many cartwheels ur head will spin!!!

yaa you juss let them do a hand stand but u hold there feet and then wile holding feetdo a cartweel if that dose not work tell then that put your hands on the ground and push off and there you go a cartweel ok and Q> email dancegirl4695@yahoo.com ok

Hold their stomach and don't let them fall. Before you know it.... they'll be doing cartwheels!!!!

i tried to teach my little brother and the best thing out of all the things we tried was foot, foot, hand, hand, foot, foot.

the order of parts touching the floor. feet to hands to feet.

know it isn't a big help, but it helped my brother a lot. good luck.
