Some animals go into heat, mate, and go on their way. Some stay together for a season. Other animals form lifelong pairs. It's different for each species and has a lot to do with how they raise their young, whether the mother can best do it alone or whether two parents are needed. For animals, sex is a lot more directly related to reproduction than it is for most humans.

Usually not the same way as humans. Love between animals is usually much more simple, and often is really only procreation.

Yes, they do,very much so.Have you seen the cute commercial, from Disney?, they show two Dogs,& a song singing, So this is Love?, & their eating a spagetti dinner. It's so!!!!!!, cute!!!!!!!!!. Some pet's really, can't go on without their other mate.

No,for animals there will be only sexual instinct which is natural and that too only for reproduction.But in humans sex is not only meant for reproduction but mainly (especially in modern world) for sensual pleasure.

Yes, there are allot of species in the world that are monogamous (one mate for life). Most whales are and we are suppose to be.
