Twins from fertility treatments are a result of two eggs being fertilized, identical twins are the result of one egg being fertilized and splitting to produce two babies.
Twinning seems to run in families, as you can see from yours! So you may have twins.I doubt you are at higher risk of having twins from fertility treatment especially if your husband has low sperm count, but identical twins only need one egg fertilized. I guess you will just have to wait and see.
Good Luck.

Well the chances of having twins are like 100 to 1 and Identiacal twins are 400 to 1. You have a half chance of getting a gene passed down. Sorry But I'm Only in 4th grade so this is a hard question !!

I believe that the Twin Gene is passed along the Male side. That could explain why your first child was not a twin. You have a very good chance of having twins or more taking fertility drugs. Good luck to you and your family.

Twins are usually passed on the X chromosome and generally skip a generation, but in your family your aunt had twins. Maybe 3 generations ago someone had twins. Anyhow, even without fertility drugs, your chances of twins is high.
I hope you are happy with the idea of multiple births, because you are a candidate for more than 1 baby. Good luck!

you'll under no circumstances comprehend till they inform you yet i visit claim 2 issues. a million. even as my mom changed into pregnant with me (i'm a twin) a lot of folk idea she changed into having twins and my finished kinfolk changed into praying for twins etc. and we do no longer have any twins in our kinfolk so it changed into thoroughly random. So possibly you've some desire with that. 2. i do not imagine having quite some twins has that good sized of an result on even if you've ones. it surely relies upon on if different twins on your household are fraternal or no longer. reason being is because similar is carefully random yet fraternal may have an result on it. because there's a gene for some thing talked about as hyper-ovulation which makes a woman placed out a lot extra eggs extra typically and infrequently countless at a time. therefore making your probabilities of having a fraternal twins better nicely good success with the twins!
