Click "Tools" on the top of your screen. Scroll to Internet Options. A menu will pop up. Use the "General" tab at top. Click on "Delete Files". When finished, click on, "Delete Cookies". When done, "Clear History". You can change the number of days to keep history, or "0".
If you've never done this, it may take some time to finish.

Go to Start then click on Control Panel, then Internet Options, Then Internet properties comes up.
Click on Temporary Internet files press 'delete files' OK.
press 'delete cookies' OK then under HISTORY click on 'clear history' OK . then finally at the bottom of the page click on OK. This should clear all your history problems.

Yer wot u been lookin up lol, wel sometimes if you click on history on the tool bar and open each one (one month, tuesday etc) and then delete the results it can get rid of them sometimes and deleting cookies to but sometimes they don't want to move

the answer colin s gave you is correct, but you'll still have traces of the sites on your machine. you'll also need to delete temporary internet files. just click delete files after you click delete history. you'll also have cookies from the site, but deleting all the cookies could raise a flag since it appears it's not your machine and the owner of the machine or whoever may have certain cookies they keep.

you also need to delete files in internet options otherwise it will still have a record of sites visited and will try to fill in text as you put in a web site eg www.se, it will no that you have visited a site called sexmad.com and autofill the rest without you typing it in
