I can't think of any prescribed meds containing alcohol. It's really OTC (over the counter) meds you want to be wary of if you're concerned about alcohol content. Generally cough syrups (Nyquil, etc) contain high amounts of alcohol in them. Make sure you read the labels before buying.

Most of the tonics and cough syrups contain alcohol.Please check up the content list/label on the bottles.

nearly all meds contain a certain amount of alcohol and i don't mean gin.always look at the label it will tell you what it contains and by what amount
