It only takes one time to get pregnant. Once a month a woman releases an egg from her ovary into her fallopian tube (ovulation). The egg stays in the fallopian tube for about 24 hours. If it is not fertilized by a sperm cell then the egg degrades and is released from the body with a woman's period. If you are trying to get pregnant have sex about 14 days after the first day of your period. This is around the time you should be ovulating if you have a regular cycle. It only takes one time to get pregnant but sometimes it takes a few more times depending on when you are ovulating and when you have sex.

I hope you haven't really gone through with this. Having a child is an awesome responsibility and you will be going It alone (80% of teenage BOYS bail out of their responsibility).
You are young and should wait until you can provide properly for a child and be in a loving relationship in marriage. If you are not ready to commit to marriage with someone, why do you think you can commit to the raising of a child?
I hate to sound harsh, but I have seen this many times before. I was glad I waited to have children and can provide for them both emotionally and financially. If you want the best for your child, you will wait.

Yup, once is all it takes. Not that it will happen the first time, but that is all it could potentially take.

All it takes is one time but it all depends if you were ovulating during that day.

You only ovulate once a month . Your chances are dependent on when you ovulated.
