Yes it is. let's see it like that. A human being has a soul. A soul lives in 7 lives.
Accordin to the mithological origins of a huma being, and to Platon, at the biginning, th human being had 2 heads, 4 hands, 4 legs, and one single heart. And they had the possibility to reproduce and to control a lot. And the gods weren't pleased by that. And they split this being into 2 parts, and the heart had to suffer. :) So there is a half of everybody,.
Going back to the soul issuet thing. The soul has his half/mate and it is the same in all the 7 lives.
So if your soul met that mate in a past life and they were happy, in this life it will be searching for the person who has the mate-soul. And usually you understand that it is him/her when first looking in his/her eyes.
But if you reffer to the thing that you liked a person because he/she is very cute and you like the looks, this is bullshit. it is not love!

Dun believe in it. Only physical attraction at first sight. Love only develops when you get to know the other party and can see yourself developing something more than a friendship with him/her.
