what i mean by luxury of time is ... the boy goes to girl's house with his parents to see how she looks like and all. That will be the first time the boy and the girl meet . They both have the option to proceed or reject if they don't like and look for some body else. It is not parent's decision alone , apart from boy or girl parents also should like the boy / girl . Coming back to time after meeting first time in life they got only 1 or 2 days to decide whether to proceed or not and that decision is made based on the 30 minuts meeting they had in girl's house on that perticular day . So the girl dosen't have much idea about the boy ... Is he kind , cruel , can he understand me , is he a sex maniac etc etc ... So based on what factors she makes her decision where she got very limited time of 1 or 2 days decide ?

I always though an arranged marriage is one where you are told who you are to marry. One that was picked out for you by the parents of both parties. If you really have to pick because of parental pressure choose one who is good and kind. One that animals like because they can sense a mean person. One that will treat you equal with him. Looks are not as important as personality. Can he support you, be faithful in the marriage, use your gut feelings. This is to weird to think of in this day and age. Do you really have to marry fast? I don't think it's a good thing to do.
