Shot.... NO.....tried for treason....YES.....asked to leave our great nation....definitely!

I am a bit young to remember the Jane Fonda issue...but I do know that many Vietnam vets don't like her....they say she was guilty of treason for not supporting the troops or the presidency. Are people like Tim Robbins, Susan Serandon any different....oh right....we call them our hero's....How sad!

They are not Anti American they are anti Bush Administration. They did not take on such hard line stances before Bush got into office. If he was running our country the way it should be run then they would not have a problem. Listen to what they say next time instead of listening to the Talking Heads on your T.V. If you listen to Bill O'Reily, Shaw Hanity, and Rush Limbaugh you are only getting one side of the story. I have to reminded myself sometimes to keep and open mind and listen to the other side too. It's only in our nature to listen to the group of people that appeal to our own interest but sometime you have to step out of your shell. I dislike this Bush Administration too, and I don't think I should be shoot for it, I was a Marine for 8 years and I believe that my fellow Service members die everyday so people can have the freedom of speech. I think you should pick up a M-16 and do you part over there if you want to shoot people.

re Cindy Sheehan......

I don't believe in shooting mentally ill people.
I said this on military.com months ago....
If you can't look at that woman and SEE that she is not wrapped tight.....
And if you can't SEE that she is being USED as a mouthpiece for People like JESSE JERKSON whose ambulance chasing career would be over if HE said the things she says.
Then you are blind.

Cindy Sheehan is the BILLIE BOGGS of the so called anti war movement.
__
Billie Boggs
The Boggs case grew out of the Koch administration’s efforts to get homeless people off the streets during the winter. In late 1985, Mayor Koch inaugurated the Homeless Emergency Liaison Project, known as Project HELP. He issued an order authorizing the police to remove the homeless from the streets whenever the temperature fell below freezing. He also relaxed standards for committing the mentally ill homeless to institutions: Previously, only those who posed an immediate danger to themselves or others could be hospitalized; the Koch policy allowed commitment of those who posed such a danger in the foreseeable future. Teams of psychiatrists, nurses, and social workers were sent into the streets to treat the homeless and identify those in need of hospitalization.

The NYCLU’s response was vitriolic. Norman Siegel and staff attorney Robert Levy accused Koch of violating “the rights of countless homeless people who have competently refused to go to a shelter.” The NYCLU fought back, instituting its own “freeze patrol,” which sent out volunteers untrained in psychiatry to inform the homeless of their right to stay put, as well as their right to shelter.

In December 1986, Project HELP’s professionals began receiving reports about Joyce Brown. The forty-year-old Brown, who used the pseudonym Billie Boggs (after radio talk-show host Bill Boggs), had made her home on a Second Avenue sidewalk between 65th and 66th streets in Manhattan. For a period of months, she was observed destroying money and urinating and defecating on the street. Brown, who is black, also shouted racial epithets at black male passers-by and refused all services offered by Project HELP.

I am a Liberal and I will not rant at your ignorance. Since when does exercising your right of free speech and disagreeing with the President equate with anti American. Americans who disagree with policies are as Patriotic as, oh, say Ben Franklin or Thomas Jefferson. I may not like GWB and I have many valid reasons for that but I support our troops( they are our sons and daughters) and I love my country. And the most amazing thing of all, is that the neocons cannot answer any question without ranting and raving like lunatics. Why is this?? Do you not know how to defend your position? Can you not agree with GWB without blaming Liberals ? I do not blame all Republicans for GWB's policies.

An interesting philosophy. The answer is no. Question:
Should Watergate investigators been shot?
Should Clinton impeachers have been shot?
What about people who called for the end of the Vietnam war?
These are all examples of people who could be viewed as anti-government and anti-White House. To speak for what is right is the greatest example of being American. To want to crush free speech is the clearest example of not being American. You sir, fall in the latter category. I shall now eat you.

This is to all the ones who answered this question why when all of these celebrities stand against bush you support them when they nor you know the facts and stan by them regardless of what they say. I've hear many democrats say that bush should be shot but to you they're just exercising free speech, but when someone attacks the values of one of your golden idols they are anti American. philosophicplease has said no more about these people than you have about Bush. everyone has a right to speak their mind so how can you call this person unamerican?

Hmmmm, I thought political dissent was allowed in the U.S., I guess you are not the land of the free you lead everyone to believe. I disagree constantly with both extreme Left and Right wingers, they tend to grate on my nerves. This is usually because neither can form a coherent sentence or argument. But as I asked before, given your question, is not political dissent the very foundation of America or is that just advertising for the outside world?

They are entitled to their opinion, after all that is what the guys in the war are fighting for. The right to express different views is what democracy is about. I don't mind stars saying they are against a war but that doesn't mean they shouldn't support the men and women fighting and dying in that war. At least they aren't over there fraternizing with the enemy like Jane Fonda did in Vietnam.

Just you and Ann Coulter, Sean Hannity, Gordon Liddy, Oliver North, Rush (The Drug Lord) Limbaugh, Michael Savage, Man Cow, Don Imus, Bill O'Reilly, and all the other uneducated talking heads and their ditto-heads (otherwise known as bobble-heads) who have no original thoughts and must have someone else tell them what to think and say.

And oh, yes, I forgot - Jerry Falwell, Pat Robertson, James Dobson, and all the other REVERENDS who preach hatred and ungodliness.

We liberals don't want to eat you.

We prefer to eat things that will be GOOD for us. Putrid meat ain't good for anyone!
