God yeah...I often day dream of the little village outside Puri in India, little huts on the beach about 10ft square, a pallet on the floor and a little stove, and the people there were happier than any I have ever met and they had nothing in terms of material things but they had each other and a tight community and it was brillaint.
THAT, my friend, is life. Not all this crap!

Being self sufficient worrying about failing crops, hungry bugs ect living away from amenity's worrying about no hospital, doctor, transport, ect is complicated and stresfull Been there done that.
I have a low stress job, roof over head, good food, and I pay essential bills. Grow a few vegies have a few chickens. all in the city .
Sounds boring but its simple!!

No necessarily strange. A lot of people do actually. Sometimes they are called hippies. ;-)
Actually there is a village in West Virginia that lives as a medievil town. I am sure they have almost no crime.....never have power outages, etc.....

My life is already kind of simple. sometimes I wonder though, what life would be like in some enchanted forest in a tiny cottage and no strip malls, no shopping and no crowds of people.

Yes, I do.
I wish I could live some where that utilities isn't such a hassle and people would leave you alone if that's what you want them to do.

I do. I'd love to just work with people who don't compete. Life gets complicated when people compete with each other. I hate it. People get selfish.
