I was just wondering, since many people on low incomes and who have to resort to crime to get by reportedly end up living there.

The LOWEST was $155 for a week at a flop house (litterly just a room about the size of a walk in closet with a bed and window). After that it was $40 dollars a night.

$75-$100/night. There are special programs for those less fortunate who live in hotels. Have you seen the movie "Hostel"? It's kind of a related topic. I thought you might enjoy it due to your fascination with hotels.
