Do something good that you've always wanted to do but have been afraid. Such as wear the clothes that you love but are afriad of what someone would say. Take a different route to work, try going to a different store that you don't usually go to, like instead of buying groceries at giant eagle go to walmart.
Start out with something simple so its not to drastic, usually slow and steady changes are a lot easier to stick to than abrupt ones

Depends on what part of your life is in a rut. You can get a new job, move, go back to school, get a new exercise program or start one, get a new haircut and color your hair, find new hobbies, look at joining new clubs around town whether social or professional.

better yourself, if possible take some courses to further
your education & then get a job you will enjoy doing
try not to spend money on things that you don't need
go do something you like that does not cost a lot
of money, such as going to or renting a good movie,go to the beach ,go for a walk or a bike ride ect.....
make the best of what you have & good luck

Try a style makeover, new clothes, different hair style/color, change the look of your home, even obtain new and seemingly interesting friends.
