I am 31 weeks pregnant, and have been having pre-term labor..I am dilated 1, but this is my 3rd pregnancy, so I'm told this is normal.However, I am still having contractions and my Dr put me on 5mg brethine every 4 hours.It just does not seem to work...I am also having serious lower tummy pains, and I am being told this is "normal"...Can anyone say TUBAL LIGATION?
My 4yr old was 5 weeks premature, so I am a little worried about this baby being premature also, but I am MISERABLE...

My second son was born at 34 weeks. But he started threatening to come out like your baby somewhere around 28 weeks. It took a lot of rest and a lot of drugs to keep him in me that long. I said it wasn't normal even though my doctor said it was as well. If you are anything like I was you will stay miserable until that baby gets here. My son was born healthy despite his prematurity. He has asthma, but everything else is normal.
Not trying to scare you or anything but at my six week post partom checkup after that problem pregnancy I had an abnormal pap smear. (cervical cancer) Mine was severe and that was why my labor kept starting. My cervix was just too weak.

yeah i had tubal problem before i got pregnant and when i had my babies they were 9 weeks premature.it could be u r having the baby very soon. try to rest rest rest as much as u can,just use the bathroom and go back to ur bed..if the medicin and restiong didnt work nothing u can do. i know why u r worried cause it is not a good expercient u went through with ur girl. i really know it. take care and hope everything will work fine with u. good luck

another pregnancy another headache true do your best to calm down i had a panic attack with my second and it was frightning god will see you through good luck also after the pregnancy if u want a tubal ok but hang in there otherwise

Either call your doctor & TALK with him/her. OR get into see a different doctor!!!
