The Exorcist: 1 & 3 (Legion), The Entity, The Amityville Horror (The original) and Susperia

All of those movies had a level of fear that is not normally found in newer horror films. While I love scary movies, I'm not very big on gore. All of the above movies are more psychological (except for Susperia).

My newer favorite scary movie, despite what a lot of people say about it: The Blair Witch Project. It was unique...I also like The St. Francisville Experiment-mostly because I love the story of Madam LaLaurie. She was a real life monster.

I like the original House on Haunted Hill. it has a very horrific plot, but beside that, the original version seems so cheesy now that it is actually comical.

I like simple movies, the ones I can easily understand. If I want something complicated, I read a book.

The Lobster Man From Mars. It’s supposed to be scary, but it’s funny. It’s older and rated R, but it’s stupid, the special effects must have been no more than $4.99.
