It seems odd to me that as all citizens of the UK are entitled to express their views freely and stand for election young muslims feel they are entitled to attack their own countrymen under the guise of fighting "oppression". The British state and citizens supports those who are without work, provides an education and most imporrtantly provides and defends freedom to express almost all political views of whatever type. This is quite unlike the states inspiring such action i.e. Iran, Taleban led Afganistan (as was) and the more extreme Shia and Sunni leaders in Iraq. Is it now time to say - if you dont like how we do things here - leave........

Some might feel guilty that life in the UK is just too good and easy, they don't have anything to really fight against - a 'certain minority' of muslims who aren't really educated enough or haven't the strength of character to do something productive with their lives decide to do something small minded so that their like minded buddies can have something to protest against.

Just in case people think I'm being unfair (which they are entitled to), my father is from Iran and I was born in England - so I'm not anti - muslim - I just hate stupidity. I love the UK, I'm happy to be born here, I've been to the middle east as well as other places around the world and know how different things are, if you don't like the UK, just leave - it's that simple.

Good question.

The way the extremely small minority of Muslims who feel this way justify it is to claim that no-one is innocent. Those civilians who do not do anything about their government's foreign policy are fair game. Civilians are viewed as taking advantage of a strong economic system built on the oppression of mainly middle-eastern Muslim countries.

The important thing to recognise is that those who hold this view are in the minority, and not regarded as true Muslims by the vast majority of British Muslims. Those who preach hate and death should have the right to their views, but if if it is proved that anything they say or do contributes to a terrorist act, then I believe they should be prosecuted and imprisoned, then deported.

I have an iranian friend who says the british are to blame for everything. And, it's just so true. Are you aware that in the 90 years of Iraq's existance (borders drawn by england!) england has been at war there 45 of those years? Are you aware that in 1953 Britian overthrew the democratically elected president of Iran, with US help, and installed one of the bloodiest dictators of all time? Are you aware that Britian created the terrible mess called Isreal/Palestine?

Are you aware that, as the Clash said, you have the right to free speech, as long as you don't really use it? Not only are there true limits on speech in the West, for some reason, our brutal leaders of the past have never felt for one minute that those rights of free speech, dissent, and self-governance should belong to brown people (or, in the case of england, irish catholics.)

It is wrong for anyone to kill anyone, except in self-defense. And herein lies the problem. When you are a weak people, under the thumb of mighty oppressers (who are so self-deluded that they see every action of their own as blessed by god and beneficient), you defend yourself however you can, you turn to the weapons you have.

Suicide bombings are the weapons of a weak (militarily, politically) people. Because the populace of UK and America are so lied to about the nature of their actions in the world, the suicide bombers seem to be totally insane. Instead, they are merely people who are able to act as heartlessly against us as we've allowed our countries to act against them.

If someone being willing to blow themselves up for a cause doesn't get you to pause and ask Wassup, you are utterly lacking in imagination, if not compassion.

It is odd. The problem is Muslims identify more with their relgion than the state they happen to live in. Until of course you invade one of them. If G.britain is such a harsh and evil place to live, why dont they bugger off. Won't happen cause they know what side their breads buttered.
Their can never be any justification for terrorism now matter what cause, relgion or purpose its for. If you can't except that then you should not have the right to be a citizen.

I have always asked myself that, and I have come up with some theories ...
1- at best they intend to bring war and mayhem to those members of the British public who either do not know or don't want to know what Britain is doing in their name to Muslim people and countries, far from Britain . They believe some people will not see the truth, until it hits them square in the face !
2- Through religion, you can convince yourself, that what you are doing is for a higher cause and the will of god, and therefore they are not responsible for their actions, this is (and has been) true for all religions , throughout history.
What ever their reasons or motives, they have managed to alienate themselves ( as far as the public is concerned).

But do not believe everything you hear on the news, majority of Muslims are some of finest people on the planet, some of the youth are frustrated by world events, and its blatant unfairness, they are miss guided and brain washed by some very , very clever and evil people!

telling them "if you don't like how we do things here - leave " is the exact kind of stupid "pub-chat" that these evil people use to brain wash the youth.
Majority of these "Muslims" are born and bred here, they are as British as you.
Did Britain leave Iraq, when they didn't like what Saddam was doing ????

Wisen up boy .....

Your question contains a huge generalisation - 'British Muslims'. It is only a very small minority of radical Islamists whose agenda it is to bring the whole world under the domination of Islam. The rest of Muslims are quiet peaceable people who are a pleasure to have in this country. The task of our authorities is to discern between the two, protect the latter and deport the former to countries where they don't enjoy the benfits of our democracy.
By the way, I am not a Muslim.

British Muslims do not justify it or try to, well at least 99% of us don;t anyway.

Be mindful of generalisation, as that is where conflict arises. Murder is murder and is forbidden in Islam. Real muslims know this, the rest that are the minority that get the air time and people react just like you did.

I know of nobody who fits the profile of what your question is based upon.

I hope you can undertsand that.

Why do you expect Bristish Muslims to justify acts of violence that they are not responsible for?
British Muslims are as entitled as anyone else to attack the perpetrators of these acts, whichever country the terrorists come from.
I think your headline is at odds with the rest of your question

Muslim terrorists will always justify their attacks anywhere in the world as being done in the name of Allah. That's all they feel they need. They do not respect national boundries or national sovereignty. Its odd that , in a so called peaceful religion, terror is incited and encouraged by the mullahs who you'd think would be the first ones who'd preach peace.

Abdul Ullah, a Labour Party member of the Greater London Authority: "It's about identity. I am a Muslim, I am Labour, I am Tower Hamlets, I am a proud Bangladeshi. I have many identities. Which one do you want me to stick on my head?"

Islam is Number 1 for all Muslims; it takes precedence over national identity, country of residence, et al. Many muslims feel alienated in Europe, in the countries they immigrated to or were born in. The young may turn to radicalism supporting the 'jihad' ideology in one way or another. There are millions of muslims in Europe, citizens of Europe... but their allegiance is to Islam first.
