she isnt much into manicures and typical girly stuff....she is more of football and loud music....she is a bit boyish...

Sit down and talk with your daughter about her birthday. If she wants a party, run with it. I plan on throwing an all out bash for my eleven year old when she turns 13. Pick a nice location that is teen friendly. Get a d.j. so the music will be pumped! Decorate in her favorite colors and use the number 13 as the "theme". Give her 13 lollipops, 13 balloons, 13 flowers, a gift card for $13 to her favorite store, $13 cash, etc. You get the idea. Let the invitations to her party reflect that this is the 13th b-day party to be at. Just use this as a chance for you and your daughter to connect and it will be a memorable birthday. Congratulations on your soon to be teenager! By the way, I also have a fourteen year old daughter and the teen years are something else. Good luck.

the most important thing is making your daughter happy, but then again shes a tomboy and you didn't raise a boy. You have to put your daughters feelings first. she'll grow out of that eventually, but until then what you should do for her birthday is give her a party with a football theme and loud music. get the music she listens to. get a cake with a football jersey on it with the number 13. Shell love it.

An afternoon of spa treatments just for her and 2-3 close friends. Maybe a manicure/pedicure, then a cut and hairstyle. Might get expensive if she has too many friends to invite, but I think girls would love that!

She is becoming a woman. Treat her like one for her special day. Treat her to a salon for a haircut and possible highlights to her hair. Treat her to a manicure or pedicure. Take her to one of the larger department stores for professional lessons in cleansing of skin and application of makeup appropriate for someone her age...minimal makeup at this point. She will feel like an adult for the day and appreciate not being treated like a child. It can be a day for the two of you alone, something special that she'll remember for a lifetime.

13 is a big year. You should do something that she will love you for!! Take her to a concert that she'll love or maybe if she is really into a certain sport and team, take her to one of their games. Or you could always just go with a party, but make it fun with music and her friends!!

just throw a big bash for her
thats what i did when i turned thirteen.
tell her to invite some guys and chicks so that it will feel like a more "grown-up" party since it is co-ed.
if you have a party, play some games like water balloon fight, manhunt(if its held in a park or a big area), capture the flag, and then you can get some balls like footballs, volleyball, etc., etc.
trust me, she will have a blast!!!

Get a nice Publix Birthday Cake, decorated with Footballs on it,& have a Birthday Party ,then ,afterwords take them, Roller Skateting, or, wherever, she would like to go, with her Friends!!!!!. She'll have a blast!!!!!!.
