Reply to the person by saying “the fear of EFCC is the Beginning of wisdom” that will be the last you’ll hear from the person.
EFCC is a Nigerian regulatory body that tackles Fraud within and outside the country.
I think you should go to Google and type in “EFCC Nigeria” its short for Economic and Financial Crimes Commission.
You’ll get to read bout all their reports and advice on e-mails like that.
Good luck.

There are 101 variations of this scam and it IS a scam. It is known in Nigeria as a 419 scam as the government code for this offence is 419.
Do NOT send this person anything and ignore the mail or report it to the police.
Other variations involve helping some high level person in Africa use your account to help "move" money out of the country. You would be offered a small cut of the large amount of USD.

I did run into a Dr. Can't remember if it is the same one, but I was selling a laptop on ebay for a friend and he wanted to but it outside of ebay, and yeah this so called Doc was from nigeria. I did not sell to him. If he did run a scam on you contact the FBI.

I wouldn't like to generalize but most nigerians are frauds and scams. They got my address one time and sent me letter that I had won some money, then went ahead and told me to pay $ 7000,00 be4 I get my win. Isn't this a scam or what! I don't even believe I would talk to any of them.

These people go by many aliases. Don't ever send them any of your personal information. It is a scam.
Don't tell them anything at all. Best thing is to just delete the e-mail before you even finish reading it.
Remember, if someone is contacting you that you do not know, asking for information, don't trust them.
