Shopping on line is safe to an large extent. Though there are a lot of spy ware that can get this information. Your best bet would be to have a good firewall and a virus scan for your protection. The best sites are www.paypall.com, www.ebay.com. And make sure you don't download any unknown attachments and don't buy any offers that are provided to you when you are on line.

As safe as ordering over the phone. You never know if the person on the other end wants to take your credit card number. After saying that, I shop online all of the time.

I have never bought anything online.... and honestly I dont' think I would. I am not comfotable with giving out so much personal information on line.... I now it can be retreived from other places even without me knowing... however, I feel that it would be easier for someone to scam and get my info, if I am inputting it in to various different sites across the net! !

Yes it is safe as long as you are not making your payments online through credit card. Like on rediff.com you have a facility to make the payments on delivery by cash. I have done it a number of times. It is safe.........I don't give my credit card details online.

Yes to larger extend its safe.

But buy from paypal recongnise sites only.

It better if u have a icici bank special internet credit card.

which gives u a different credit card number just for online usage only. which is much more safer.
