Weed man! It's not even a question!

If you can control the munchies then weed has no calories, how many beers does it take to get f'd up? at least 6 for me! And that's about 1000 calories and there isn't any way of getting around that! I've never heard of a person getting high and then doing any of these things:

1. waking up next to an ugly person
2. throwing up from smoking too much!
3. getting violent

Either way you should never drink or smoke and then drive. Even though it's easier to drive high you still shouldn't do it.

Neither is better. They are both mind altering substances that remove the ability to reason. Weed smokers suffer paranoia, loss of judgement, loss of motor function, and become self serving, looking for anything to quiet the cravings. I've been with individuals who jumped off of bridges into the creek below because they thought the car coming was the cops and they were going to jail, (it turned out to be a small motorcycle, but they thought the cop car had busted a headlight trying to find them). Those of you who support this indulgence may create whatever stories of medical value you wish, but if there really were any way to use marijuana medicinally, Novartis would be growing it in Nebraska. Alcohol users suffer conditions very similar to weed users even though smokers will argue that. The diminished physical capabilities are much more pronounced than with weed, but the lack of inhibitions, the desire for food, and the self indulgence are similar. For those who think weed should be legal, I ask the question, "Do we really need another legal mind altering substance?" It seems to me that we should be working toward fewer legal mind altering substances. Just a thought.

Neither because weed is illegal and they both alter your perception. Both have caused deaths, sickness that could last the rest of your life, brain damage. They could possibly ruin your whole life. Do you think a few hours of fun is worth that? I have known people who died from both weed and alcohol, family and friends. I have a freind in the hosptal right now who is there from smoking bad weed. You never know what your getting when you buy weed. You can't trust anyone who sells it. If you get it from your best friend, where did they get it? It's not something to be messed with. Please believe me, I'm not your parent and don't know you but seriously, don't start smoking it because it IS addictive no matter what anyone tells you. Alcohol eats up your insides and your brain matter and is just as bad and probably deadlier. Please don't start doing either one. If you value your life at all. Forget what your peers say...You be the smart one of the bunch and feel proud about that. Talk as many as you can into not doing either one. Life is more fun when your aware of what's going on around you! Please listen to me and Good LUck and long life to you...

I am going to have to go with alcohol as well because it is legal, plus anyone that says weed doesn't kill is truly a stoner and they have just killed off a few to many brain cells to see that their bong is all resined up and that they can't figure out that this goes in their lungs as well all they know is that they are hungry and that that fart was really funny for some reason, but I really wouldn't say that it is better for you, alcohol os more the lesser of two evils is a more accurate way of putting it

Although alcohol is legal and weed isn't I would have to say weed. There are more divorces and deaths attributed to alcohol than weed. And more likely than not a person who has smoked a bone is less likely to pick a fight than someone who has downed a pint or two.

Both have their down side, neither could be portrayed as "better" but perhaps the less damaging in the long term is weed, if used socially and in moderation. I dont use either, but have friends who are addicted to both. I recognise the paranoia associated with weed and the liver problems associated with alcohol along with the hangovers from both....... Wonders why you'd bother with either

Weed is illegal. Possession will get you straight to jail.

Driving under the influence of weed or alcohol will also get you into jail, so that would be silly too.

Drink only in moderation for good health. And drink responsibly.

Is only now more or less recovering, and is going for a menial job, She is a fully qualified designer who has been on a serious salary. So is weed better than alcohol??

Alcohol. It's not illegal (if you're old enough, of course) and as a society we know the long-term consequences of both moderate and excessive use. Weed, on the other hand, is far more of a great unknown
