teddy bears, and now days there really very expensive, where can i buy old teddies in the London area without spending a fortune. thank you

I would just settle for the newer remakes of the classical bears. You really can't tell much of a difference between the new Stieff's and the original ones from 50 years ago. Same with the Paddington Bears..

Check out auction rooms, boot sales and charity shops. One of the in-laws found an old looking teddy there, turns out it;s worth a bit of money (£200 i think). She didn't kow its worth, only bought it because she thought it looked like it needed a good home! And she's keeping it! Not selling it off!

Try second habd shops/flea markets/and advertise for them?Also try dolls hospitals
