you would have to build something that goes faster than the speed of light. and then you would have to control it. and then you would only be able to go back in time. so no.

First of all, you need a flux capacitor. I know this guy named Dr. Emmit Brown who made a time machine out of a Delorian............................just kidding.

There are people that believe they are close to being able to send particle back in time. Limitations are mentioned that I thought were kind of interesting, maybe just because they add some "real" sense to the idea.

If you could build a contraption that could send particles back in time you could send messages by timing the particles, sort of like a code. The moment that you finish building a working "time machine" would be the furthest back in time that any "message" or particle could be sent. (If the machine is not there, the particle cannot be sent back to it) Another cool idea: as soon as you finish building the working machine you should start getting messages from the future to ensure you that you have completed your work and should go get your nobel prize. The furthest back that a message could be sent would be a worthy time to send a message, so you should expect a message at that time. Wow!

Anyway, "they" say that they can do it by positioning a bunch of lasers, or one laser and some mirrors, in a way that can warp the spacetime inside of the configuration and GREAT SCOTT, we have a time machine.

if you have the knowledge and money you can build anything you want !! but will your products work ? now for a time machine to work, so a person or object to travel back or forward in time is just straight out fiction from the early movies. it is not possible. what has happened in past time , THE window has been shut for good and can not be re-opened to enter as the same for the future. the window into the future cannot be opened until we are actually living in that time. the whole idea of this was just a thought that someone had years ago. and it is just a thought that can not happen.

Wow--The time machine*My ultimate fantasy gadget**

--I don't think you could build one not in the true sense however. You could travel to the future. However travelling back to the past would be impossible cause for that you will need to build something that moves faster than light itself and that is something Science hasn't discovered yet .

Another way would be to build a wormhole where one end of the wormhole is accelerated to the extent of the speed of light. However to keep the wormhole stable rotating at the spped of light you would require an source of energy as huge as the sun itself .

I read an blog about some guy called john titor on the net recently.Anyway the guy was obviously a fake.Checkout the following link though as it might interest you.

Yes you can, all you have to do is travel as fast as possible (or as close to speed of light as possible), for exmaple even traveling on a concerde was time traveling even thou the goin like 0.001 second forward through time. Another way is you could stabilze a 2 connecting worm holes put on near the eye of a black hole the other in normal space, if you can do that give me a shout!

I know some people who own a time consumer. Boo and Jah showed me the future and their secret land, the future was amazing, in only 40 years there will be one religion, telephones will protect you, Boo, Jah and John stopped the holocaust from happening. Chan copied their time consumer and kidnapped their daughter and the Others, they altered her mind, but Boo and Jah's kids built an improved consumer and caught Chan. Trouble is, Chan 8 is on the dead planet and he will be back.

Yes, try searching on the web for time traveller called John (I forget his second name, if I find it ill add it) This guy claims to be from the future and has traveled back in time to help us understand time travel, it makes for quite funny reading!

I dont think it will be possible however, as you would have to move at the speed of light to time travel, moving this fast increases the mass of the machine, hence requiring more energy to move it faster and so on, you will never quite reach the speed of light, according to Mr. Hawkins.

Then agin who knows, if you sus it out, please come back and tell me this saturdays lottery numbers, thanks!

No
I could waffle on a bit and possible mention rotating neutronium cylinders or wormholes but basically the answer is no.
Not just you, it may well be fundamentally impossible to build such a thing.
