UFC is a mixed martial arts competition. Judo, Karate, Wrestling, Ju-Jitsu, Boxing, Thai Boxing...etc...
WWE mixes acting, and body building with wrestling..

Yes, these people can. Wrestling is not fake, its planned. I say that because the pain the recieve is far from fake, juniors. And the fact is, yes, some of them can. Kurt Angle can. Samoa Joe can. Taz could have in the day. Some wrestlers already are, Ken Shamrock wrestled before UFC. Not sure but Dan Severn was also involved with wrestling. Also Tank Abbot. But again, while wrestling may be scripted, the people are real athletes and some of them actually know how to fight and are trained in martial arts.

If Angle learned some stand up and submissions then absolutely. Some of the toughest fighters in the world come from amateur wrestling backgrounds; Tito Ortiz, Matt Hughes, Randy Couture, Chuck Liddell. Angle would handle any of these guys on the ground but he would definitely have to learn other skills first. Also; Bobby Lashley, Shelton Benjamin, Charlie Haas, Chris Benoit

Actually 2 of the ex WWE wrestlers used to fight in the UFC and won. Ken Shamrock and Dan Severon (not sure if his name is write) so actually the answer would be yes. (if you really want to see some good matches rent the DVD of the first 3 season of the UFC)

most of them no , but some could if they trained for it , a lot of wwe guys came from martial arts backgrounds and can definately take some pain . But they would have to start over and train like the ufc guys

Maybe because even though wrestling is fake people like John Cena can probably fight in real life.
