2 weeks ago I was dialated 1 cm, lost my mucus plug late last night. Contractions have been pretty regular, but not every contraction is as painful as others. My water hasn't broken. Labor or false labor? I'll be calling my doctor when they open... just wanted opinions to pass time. thanks.

Since you have lost your mucus plug, and contractions have started, i think you are in early labor. You are completely safe to wait until the doctor's office opens. Especially since this is your second baby. Just know that if the contractions start coming too fast and hard, to call now, as your labor may go alot faster this time. My best advice is to stay home as long as possible before you have to go to the hospital and be strapped to all those monitors. Much more comfortable at home. You'll be a little antsy, but call a friend, take a SHORT walk, do a couple loads of laundry, just try and be patient. If it's the real deal, you'll know in a few hours. Exciting isn't it? Congrats! All the best for you and you're new little one!

Probably early labor or it could be false labor. Water does not break all the time so don't count on that. If you can sit here and type or are not in heavy labor yet. Rule of thumb is to get to hospital when contractions are very painful 5 mins apart.

OK maybe you are starting labor but you are not in active labor. That is somthing that hurts so bad you will not be able to type on a computer. Real labor is when you can't speak, stand, or breath. The pain is just too great.
