nothing in any othere folders to open, each time I log on says 2 new e mails how can i find this mail

The same is happening with mine, its driving me mad! Don't know how to solve it though, sorry/

i'm also having this issue! For the previous 3 to 4 days, my inbox has shown 2 unread messages that do not exist. they're no longer moved to a special folder, and that i have used the View function to kind by technique of unopened mail.

I cannot even get as far as the inbox, not a thing have trued every thing possible, but no luck and this is my no.1 e-mail address for busness as well as pleasure. I think Yahoo are having major problems. May be we should read the papers in the morning.

My email does that, I think its a glitch with the new yahoo home/mail page, thats if your on about yahoo of course! It says I got 1 new mail but there can be none or sometimes loads, I just igonore it and go straight to the inbox.

The same thing is happening to me, I have deleted all of my Spam and Trash folders and checked my Inbox but there is nothing unread.
Must be a ghost in the machine.

First of all,why is the same thing happening to all of you?
It can say you have new mail when there's no new mail in your inbox.
May be it was spam mails that came in your inbox long ago that you didn't open.
All you have to do is....click next to see the other list of your mails...keep clicking next,i am sure you'll see unread mail(s)

Are they in the Bulk inbox? This inbox is for suspect e-mails, they look like potential virus carriers to your computer.

I have the same problem since yesterday morning...it also doesn't alert me when I receive mail either. I think it has something to with Yahoo somehow..

I have the smae problem , Mine shows I have 4 unopened emails, I think it is a problem with Yahoo at the moment, I have tried everythng to get rid of it with no luck.

there may be few emails inside that u have not read yet, they might have not come today, but must have come long back, and u have not read them...so, plz look into it...im sure, u will find 2....
and this is the reason y it shows like that
