the iranian people i've met are very well educated,cultured,polite.they assimilate into american society quickly and easily.they and the people they still know in iran are expecting the imams to be overthrown.my understanding is the iranian people want to do buisness,their goverment wants to turn the clock back.

I had several Iranian friends when I was in college and at the time the Shah was in power. They were always in for a good time and ready to joke around with you. really friendly people. I don't understand why the go'vt of Iran is so hateful now.
it's a pity.
Oh and to the guy above that blames the US for everything. Hey, we didn't put the clerics in charge, the fanatics did. Good luck with that.
And as far as Iran making Nukes now. Just remember, if you live by the sword you will die by the sword. If you use those nukes then other people (like Israel) will use them on you. You are just going to bring down the nukes on top of yourself.

How are Iranians like what?
I don't know any, but I am guessing they are like anybody else-they love their familes, want a safe place to live, etc. They just have a blind hatred for Jews. And Americans. And the west in general.
Too bad.

My neighbors in Dallas were Iranian. Great people and loved the American way. We had a lot of fun and we had a lot in common. We shared the sames joys in pride in our homes, and gathering with the neighbors for wine or food.

IRANIANS ARE LIKE ANY OTHER HUMAN BEINGS.
THEY ALSO EARN THIER LIVING FOR THE 3 BASIC NECCESSITIES:-
1.FOOD
2.CLOTHING
3.SHELTER
THIER KIDS HAVE SAME DREAM AS OURS HAVE:
"TO BECOME SUCCESSFUL IN LIFE."
THERE IS NO DIFFERENCE BETWEEN IRANIANS OR AMERICANS OR INDIANS.

People from Iran are wonderful. They are smart and they are very into their culture. If you go anywhere in Iran and want to know something about anything in the village someone will always be there to tell you because they are very proud of their history, plus their food is amazing!

A mix of Islamovermin and of ordinary people who would dearly love for Iran to be a Western-style democracy. The nutjobs seem to be a minority in Iran, but they are violent and hold power anyway.
