It doesn't matter where it is: Walgreens, the mall, Kroger, Target, anywhere. When I'm feeling like **** I like to go shopping and it seriously makes me feel better. I don't even have to buy anything. I can just stare at the shelves and shelves of crap for hours.

This seems to be kind of a woman thing, do any men do this to feel better?

No, it's more like a torture thing for guys I guess. All the men I've known hate shopping, mainly because I look around for hours at different things- It's very relaxing. Most of the time though, since I cant drive until im 18 (Another 3 years) I just eat chocolate when Im depressed; or icecream...

My husband will occassionally go shopping (if he has gift cards to spend) and not come home with anything. If he's spending his own money, he goes to a store with a specific purpose, finds what he needs and leaves.
I can often wander around the mall and just people watch and hang out. I guess it depends on if you view shopping as entertainment or as a task!

who said it is woman thing, i cant understand in which century are you living, when men and women are treated alike in almost all the fields, why this differenciation, no, shopping is as therapeutic for men as it is for women, there are men who love shopping and they help their families, in fact they spend less money than a woman, and thus you can save some money if you allow them to shop.

ladies are 50 % of the inhabitants yet are to blame for eighty % of shopper spending. possibly that incorporates ladies paying for issues for others like grocery buying yet I doubt it. maximum adult males even MRAs settle for that ladies are Materialistic. Materialism feeds womens experience of safe practices. it is no longer necassarily a nasty aspect.
