It very much depends on what you want, and the use of the addition. One other answer stated correctly,,, this is not the best or right place to be asking.
It also depends on where you live, and zoning/permit/code issues.
You also would need a GC, who has other trades people involved, or hire multiple trades people for different applications,,,IE: Graders/framers/roofers/window installers/finishers/painters/electricians/plumbers,,,etc etc.
I might charge you as much as $100 a sq. ft. just for the shell, then add to that, roofing costs, finish costs, etc.
What you wish can best be found local to you, through the yellow pages, chamber of commerce, local govt. offices dealing in construction issues and permits etc.
Get multiple estimates, seek out only licensed/bonded/insured contractors who have a long standing, quality reputation. Ask for the names of customers whom you can ask about satisfaction etc.
Not knowing anything about what you want, I suggest an addition to a house, in an approximate size of 10 by 20, may cost upwards of $15,000.

You need to get about 4-5 builders to give you an estimate for the work...
There isn't anyone who would be able to give you information on material cost, planning permission cost and work involved...

Most contractors offer a free estimate.
Make sure to see their license and ask for references.
Follow up and check that their license # is valid and is on good standing and call those references.
Good luck.
