Hi,, I have used both and I am telling you that the Soft lens are the way to go.... just change them out and keep them clean also..

The hard lens are so difficult to get use to wearing....and they pop out easier...

I think it is personal choice but a soft lens is more conforming and less likely to get dislodged while playing sports. I played sports when I was younger and always wore soft lenses without a problem.

Soft lenses only increase the risk of infection if you get lax in cleaning them. I had disposable soft lenses so I put a new pair in every two weeks. In over 20 years of wearing them I have never had an infection.

I am back to glasses now but that is only because I now need bifocals.

especially if you're getting them for sports, get soft. They can't just pop out of your eye and be gone forever like hard ones can. My brother's eyesight is terrible; so bad that he was once told he can only wear hard contacts. He had a lot of trouble with them, until he got soft contacts that were originally only supposed to be used for sports and now he's able to wear them everyday. I have only always worn soft lenses. The potential for infection is there but the possibility is much greater if you don't properly take care of your contacts. Rinse them with solution before you put them in your eyes, always make sure they soak overnight in fresh solution, etc.

i too wear contacts for sports, and hard lens are the bad boys, i'm telling you. your better off using soft lenses. they're much easier to put in your eye.
you'll only get an infection in your eye if you don't clean your contact lenses very well, and after each use. and dispose of them when it's time.
it was real difficult to play sports with my glasses, so i decided to get contacts, and i'm glad i did.

soft lens are go go go thing............

reason
soft lens have very high content of water due to which they don't create any problem if u wear for More than suggested time

about hard lens as the name suggest are hard on eyes and have low water content also

it will be better to go with soft lens

I was wearing hard lenses. They are terrible, you must moist them all the time and very, very uncomftorable. I cant stand even the idea to wear them again. I didnt tryed soft lenses, I just get back to glasses. Good luck!

I play sports and I think soft lenses are better because their more comfortable and they stay in. You won't have to worry about them popping out or have to keep rubbing and rewetting them.

go with the solf lenses, preferably ones that you toss out & change every two weeks or so - this will lessen the chance of any infection developing. i've heard that hard lenses pop out easier, and they're VERY UNCOMFORTABLE!!!
