If they've offered to buy it for you just say "thanks, Mum, thanks, Dad"
If you actually meant 'get', then you'll have to make it clear to them how much you love them, and how helpful you are around the house. After about a week of sucking up, leave a catalogue lying somewhere casually, and comment on how pretty (the thing you want) looks. Don't ask for it directly (unless you are under twelve.)
