Video Graphics Array.
This refers to a resolution of 640 pixels horizontally by 480 pixels vertically for a total of 307,200 total pixels on screen.
Another common resolution on Cell Phones is QVGA which stands for Quarter Video Graphics Array and means it shows 160 x 120 pixels on screen, for a total of 19,200 pixels. That is a VERY LOW resolution, but it is pretty common for video phone resolutions.

Hope this helps!
