If mankind descended into world war 3 would you fight for you country or flee. Personally I dont agree that just because of some warmongering caused by religion, greed etc broke out that it is my responsibility to fight. At the end of the day wars solve nothing and fighting in one also solves nothing. As long as I could protect my loved ones thats all I care about, I cant see how dying in a ditch somewhere does that. i could be wrong and am ranting, what do you think/ what would you do?

Ok, please, warning to anyone who looks at the top posters web links as they are extremely vivid and disturbing. Showing dead and dying people, mutiliations and other upsettign imigary. Whilst it is not a bad thing to take in the real cost of war, people of a young or vulnerable nature should be careful as the pictures are horrific.

I would fight for my country and my freedom. With an attitude like yours, You and your family could end up slaves....or worse. Personally, I'd rather die in a ditch. Free, Proud and Brave until the end. Guess where I'm from??

All facets of the government does not respect its citizens. HAY NO! I WILL NOT FIGHT IN A WAR THAT CONTINUES TO DEMORALIZE CIVILIZED HUMAN BEINGS!
I do concur, the territories surrounding my place of residence is to be protected at all times. Unfortunately, the government and its followers, disagree. My personal opinion-Too bad! I love myself too much, to succumb to subservience. U.S. citizens need to recognize and wake up!

I am 60 do you think they would take me. I think you are right, I have seen wars and they do not solve anything. The war to end all wars will end all civilization as we know it. Boom it is gone.

It is ones own viewpoint. I agree with you it is our duty to protect loved ones. But I love my country more than anything in life. If my country needs me I will gladly fight for the country.
