I agree with the above poster. We do care about the tsunami especially the victims of this natural disaster.
Will tsunami hit Singapore? At the moment, studying the map of Singapore and neighbouring countries, tsunami might not hit Singapore because Singapore is shielded by other countries from the vast oceans. If you could analyze the map, Phuket , Sri lanka, Sumatra are bordered by the big vast blue oceans. So when tsunami strikes, the big waves from this waters will these lands.

actually pple in Singapore r the one who concern more abt natural disaster esp when it happen near to the country. The goverment is proactive to make neccessary preparation such as the Civil Defence.
Pple in Singapore are too generous to giv help first hand without question.

Singapore is not within the "Ring of Fire", Indonesia is right smack amid this zone of frequent seismic activities including earthquakes, undersea quakes, tsunamis, volcanoes due to the shifting of the earth's teutonic plates. Why worry nescessarily?
